Meet the CCBSS Case Managers

Pam Greenwood

Pam and her husband, Bob live in Fayette, MO. They have three grown children and two grandchildren. Pam joined the CCBSS team in June 2008. She has many years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities which began as a volunteer when in high school. Her work experience includes six years as a Community Support Specialist for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness at New Horizons in Columbia. As the Program Coordinator for the Pierce Home in Armstrong, MO, Pam helped develop and implement a day “program without walls”. Prior to that, Pam was a founding board member of Endless Options, Inc. and worked as a Community Trainer for nine years. Pam completed her Bachelor of Science in Education at Central Methodist University. Having family members with developmental disabilities has strengthened Pam’s commitment to linking individuals and families to resources to meet their needs.

Misty Vizcarralagos

Misty and her husband, Jorge, live in Boonville with their two daughters, Genevieve and Gabriella. Misty has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri and has taught college courses in psychology, sociology and addictions. She has ten years of professional experience in serving both the mental health population, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities. Prior to joining the CCBSS team in 2008, she worked as a counselor on the Neuro-Psychiatric Unit of Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. She then moved to Columbia, and became the Assistant Supervisor for a residential Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center. In 2002 Misty moved to Boonville and worked for two years for Unlimited Opportunities, Inc. as a Program Coordinator for a group home. Misty is currently the Intake Coordinator for CCBSS. Mauka Shaw

Mauka lives in Franklin, MO. Mauka has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Sociology from the Central Methodist University. Prior to joining the CCBSS team in January 2011; Mauka worked for Unlimited Opportunities, Inc. Family Supports Program for a little less than a year and as a direct care staff at Grayling House. Mauka has experience working as direct care staff for Endless Options in Fayette for two years, managing an ISL for Endless Options for one year and working as a direct care staff for Perkins Home from 2009 to now (currently still works here).

Christa Bruekner

Christa and her husband, Mike, live in Boonville with their three children. Christa was the owner and director of a nationally accredited home-based Early Childhood Program for nine years. Her program served children from birth through five years of age, concentrating on the children's developmental, physical and social needs.  Christa has a Bachelor of Science in Education with certifications in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Stephens College.  Christa taught Kindergarten at Pilot Grove C-4Elementary for two years prior to joining the CCBSS Case Management team. Christa looks forward to meeting the diverse needs of the Cooper County residents. 

Ashleigh Hampton

Ashleigh currently lives in Boonville, Missouri. Ashleigh has her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Missouri Valley College of Marshall, Missouri, and is a licensed educator. Ashleigh was part of the direct support staff of the Family Supports Program at Unlimited Opportunities for nearly two years before joining the case management team. Ashleigh is looking forward to serving the residents of Cooper County and helping to provide services for those in need.
