All of these months later BII is building again, back on the site of that devastating fire. A new building will put programs and people back together in a single location, bring them home again. For the recycling program, it will provide the space to collect, sort and process the materials on a scale not available in our temporary location.
That space, however, comes at a price. Insurance monies and funding reserves will be stretched to upgrade and complete the building, leaving equipment and operations without necessary funding.
BII Recycling needs your help to purchase two large horizontal balers, a conveyor, a forklift, and various warehousing and material handling equipment. Additionally the equipment in use in our temporary location must be moved to the new building. The cost of this equipment, the moving expense, and simply to day to day operations during this rebuilding process exceeds $200,000. Your donation to BII Recycling will help us to keep the doors open and continue to provide jobs and services now and for years to come.
Equipment or services to Donate? In kind donations can also be considered by contacting Kit Brewer, Recycling Manager at (573) 268-8761.
